Reading Awards & Fun Day at Winston Co. Library

More than 250 kids participated in the Winston County Library's Childrens Summer program. The Awards & Fun Day held on Tuesday (June 29) gave the participants a chance to cool off and reap the rewards of their hard work. Each grade group was asked to read level appropriate books and those who completed or surpassed their goals were recognized. Two programs were implemented this year.“Make Waves At The Library” was the teen reading program for grades 7-12 with 35 children registered. The "Make A Splash At The Library Reading Program for grades 1-6) had 225 children registered.
