Farmer's Market began today

The first Farmer's Market of the year began today (Saturday) at 7:00 am. Early morning risers found fresh produce, canned jams and jellies, homebaked breads and craft items as local vendors set up shop in front of the Citizen's Bank on South Columbus. Roughly a dozen vendors participated. The market is projected to continue throughout the summer and into October and usually increases in size and vendors as more crops ripen later in the year. The market is scheduled for every Saturday at 7:00 and generally concludes by 10:00 am. If you need more information, call the Chamber of Commerce at 773-3921.
