WCBI Remains Off-Air

The Columbus television station has remained off air for several days now due to damage to their transmitter. Some satellite subscribers have been able to view CBS network through other outlets but have not had access to the local affiliate. Just today (Wednesday), some power has been restored and cable users in Lowndes County have begun to receive the signal again. When full restoration of WCBI's transmission will be restored is not known at this time. wwn
