Hillhouse/Gones wins Lions' Club Golf Tournament

In spite of a bit of rain , the Louisville Lions' Club Golf Tournament went off without a hitch on Saturday, July 17. Twenty eight teams competed at the Louisville Country Club in four flights. The championship flight was won in a playoff by the team of Hillhouse/Simsiriwong against Hailey/Hailey. All tourney photos can be seen by clicking here.

The Lions host the yearly tournament as a fundraiser for their service projects. Holes are sponsored by local businesses and Crowson Auto World provides a new car to anyone who makes a hole-in-one on a specific hole during the tournament. In addition to golf, the Lions provide lunch, door prizes and giveaways that include a trip to Sam's Town in Tunica. Mayor Will Hill and Fire Chief Terry Johnson served to draw names for the door prizes and giveaways.
