Open Burn Ban for the Area

The City of Louisville and the City of Louisville Fire Department has determined that the weather conditions of recent weeks have presented a

CONTINUED SEVERE FIRE HAZARD

THEREFORE:

THERE IS AN OPEN BURNING BAN FOR ALL OF THE FIRE JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

The means no burning of any natural vegetation such as grass, wood, limbs, straw or hay in the open is allowed.

This excludes outdoor confined fire places, Grills and Bar-B-Ques.

This includes all properties within 5 miles of the center of The City of Louisville MS from the intersection of Main Street and Columbus Street.

It is Your responsibility to help keep our community safe and free from unnecessary Life Lost or Property Damage.
