International Flare at the Winston County Library

Local Youth experienced a bit of foreign culture at today's (Tuesday)  summer reading program at the Winston County Library. International  Festival Day allowed the children to experience different cultures from around the world. The children tasted food, played games, and wore attire from different parts of the world. Some of the cultures were Mexican, Egyptian, French, and Chinese just to name a few. The youth participated in games such as a mummy wrapping contest and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader using different culture aspects as questions.  For more information about the summer reading program, contact the Winston County Library at 662-773-3212.
