Red,White & Blue/Politics/Fireworks in Store for Thursday

 Downtown Louisville is gearing up for the Red, White and Blue Parade on Thursday, June 30 at 6:00 pm. Parents and Grandparents are encouraged to bring their children 12 yrs old and younger with their bikes, tricycles, strollers, wagons (no motorized rides) to participate. Folks are asked to meet behind the Winston County Courthouse not later than 5:45 pm to ride in the parade. The Wrinkled Roosters will cook hotdogs for the kids following the parade.

Afterwards the community is invited to some ol’ time political speaking starting at 7:00pm at Lake Tiak-O’Khata . If the politics don’t create a spark, there will be a Fireworks display to cap off the evening around 9:00 pm. The fireworks are fired from across the lake giving onlookers a great view .
