Local Gas Prices for August 4th

Gas prices have increased through July and into August by an average of 10 cents per gallon. As of Thursday morning at 9:30, $3.59 per gallon was the most common price in Louisville. Eleven out of fifteen retailers were at the $3.59 figure. The highest rate indicated was $3.65 and none were lower than $3.57 at that time. Typical local prices are 5 - 12 cents lower than the current National Avg of $3.701 but are about 4 cents higher that the Mississippi state average of $3.556.

Through the Summer, WWN will provide our readers with information on gasoline prices throughout the community. Prices indicated are for Regular Unleaded and are subject to change at anytime. Prices quoted are gathered within a thirty minute period and do not consider ethanol content - only visible advertised price. WWN is not responsible for inaccuracies in signage, etc. To follow area, state and national gas prices, check out our Local Gas Prices page at http://www.winstonwebnews.com/local-gas-prices.html
