The Mississippi Highway Patrol provided an escort for the first ever Louisville Fire Department Association Motorcycle Ride on Saturday morning. The ride began at the Louisville Fire Museum as thirty or more riders participated in the 100 mile event. The bikers routed up hwy 25 for a stop in Starkville, then to Brooksville before taking a scenic route through the Noxubee Refuge back to the Fire Museum for a provided lunch. Riders were also given the opportunity to tour the Fire Museum located on North Church Street in Louisville. Event organizer Ray Taylor indicated that the LFDA hoped to make the ride an annual event.
