Suspicious Fire Under Investigation

Investigation is underway into a fire that destroyed the Truth Christian Center Youth Site in rural Winston County. The property was still under construction  when firefighters were called to the location at 146 Brooks Carter Rd. around 3:00 pm on Tuesday (Jan 3). 

Winston County Arson Investigator Keith Alexander indicated that the structure was a complete loss and that the fire apparently started under suspicious circumstances. The State Fire Marshall's Office is offering a reward up to $1000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction of any person or persons responsible.
