Local Law Enforcement Work Together on Monday's Drug Bust

On Monday, February 13th, Officers from the Louisville Police Department, Winston County Sheriff's Office and the MS Bureau of Narcotics executed a search warrant for stolen property at a house on Kennedy Street located in the City of Louisville. During the search, officers found evidence of drugs. A second search warrant was obtained to include any evidence of drugs. The search resulted in the recovery of  stolen property,drugs and related paraphernalia and a undisclosed amount of currency. Both Sheriff Jason Pugh and Chief L. M. Claiborne stated that this is the first of many more to come in planned joint operations.

"All agencies worked well together and is a key asset for both our small forces to accomplish the mission of making Louisville and Winston County a safer and better place to live." said Sheriff Pugh.

"We, as small town law enforcement, rely heavily on the expertise of the agents of the MS Bureau of Narcotics." said Chief L M Claiborne.
