Sheriff's Dept Makes Drug Arrests This Morning

The Winston County Sheriff's Department along with the Ms. Bureau of Narcotics and Louisville Police Department made several drug related arrests this morning (Tues- Dec.11).  A raid on a residence on Piney Wood Drive around 10:00 am netted  3/4 pound of marijuana and $1400 in cash and four suspects were placed into custody.

We are awaiting further details but one suspect has been charged with felony possession, one with misdemeanor possession and one suspect is charged with resisting arrest. The fourth is being held for further questioning and possible charges. One individual fled the scene but was apprehended in the Eiland Plaza area.
