House Destroyed By Fire on Wednesday Afternoon

3375 Brooksville Rd

Louisville Fire Department personnel as well as the Beth Eden Volunteer Department were called to a structure fire at 3375 Brooksville Road on Wednesday afternoon. Upon arrival, firefighters found the residence to be fully engulfed with flames.  Embers from the structure fire started  an undergrowth fire as well in the surrounding woods. The Forestry Service was called in to create a fire lane and contain this fire. The home was a total loss and the family is receiving assistance from the Red Cross.
