Google Maps Used to Plot Tornado's Path in Kansas

On April 14th, one of as many as 120 tornados across the Midwest hit the Hayesville and Southeast Wichita area of central Kansas. While damage was not as significant as areas in Oklahoma and Iowa, multiple properties were damaged. Using Google Maps, numerous collaborators were able to plot the path of the tornado and also pinpoint areas of damage.  While not of direct local interest, maps such as these can provide some insight into storm patterns and modern use of GIS & GPS technology.
