LMSD Works with ECCC on ACT Workshops

Nanih Waiya Students are welcomed by Louisville Municipal School District Assistant Superintendent Ken McMullan as they prepare for an ACT workshop. LMSD is working in conjunction with East Central Community College and the Winston County Economic Develoment Partnership to improve district ACt scores and participation.
The workshops are expected to last for three hours with each hour covering English, Mathematics and Science. There are no direct statistics but anecdotal information indicates that the workshops do increase test scores by as much as 3-5 points.
