Stamp Out Hunger Campaign More Than a Ton Of Food Locally

In spite of poor weather, carriers collect 2343 lbs of food.
In spite of a rainy Saturday, Postal Carriers came through to collect more than 2300 pounds of food for the local Stamp Out Hunger Campaign. City and rural carriers collected 2343.5 pounds of food items that local folks left at their mailboxes or brought to collection boxes at the Louisville and Noxapater Post Offices. This year's collection was more than 800 pounds larger than the previous year. All food collected is used locally.(Photos provided by Darlene Bane)
