Louisville Seven Yr Old All-Stars Win Longhorn Bash

The 7 year old  Louisville All- Star baseball team won the Longhorn Bash Baseball Tournament in Starkville on Saturday.  The team won 4 straight  against teams from Decatur, Columbus, Caledonia and Starkville.  They won the championship game over the Starkville All-Stars by the score of 15 to 13  in a late night thriller.  The Louisville 7 year old All-Stars are coached by Jay McClendon, Greg Wright, Bruce Lee and Justin Reed.  Their next  tournament will be for the Dizzy Dean State Championship scheduled for July 5th--7th in Columbus, Mississippi. If the team wins there, they will go on to the Dizzy Dean World Series in Southaven Mississippi set for July 25th--28th.  Berry Johnson
