Dream Big, Read Awards Day at Winston County Library

"Dream Big, Read" Awards Day was held at the Winston County Library, Tuesday, July 10. Children from grades 1st - 6th received reading awards based on the amount of books read during this program. There was a grand prize drawing for a $100 gift card from Wal-Mart and drawings for other prizes. After the awards were given the children were led outside for Waterworks, courtesy of the Louisville Fire Department, Sno-Cones from the Sugar Shack for $1 and Face Painting, courtesy of the Louisville Junior Auxiliary. The Winston County Library would like to thank all local merchants and businesses who provided the prizes for the drawings, those who provided entertainment for the kids, and also all of the high school volunteers.
