The Winston County Library hosted a book signing on Saturday morning. Frances Stewart Ball, a local community leader and longtime resident recently completed "Front Porch Connection" a memoir of her life growing up in rural Mississippi. The book chronicles seventy five years including her childhood growing up in a family of fourteen children in the Murphy Creek area of Winston County; a family that made their livelihood from farming like so many in our area but also from their skill as potters, a skill that has been handed done from generation to generation.
