The new 911 system recently went online in the county and has brought state of the art technology to our area law enforcement and emergency response. The CAD component of Inter-Act improves -  response to 911 calls and documentation abilities that cut workload requirements of dispatchers.

The company presented several companion products that included a mobile accessible records management system, Pocket Cop, which provides law enforcement communication and search capabilities to users in the field, and SafeTown, an online suite of applications that allow and encourage the sharing of information between authorities and local citizens.

The North Carolina based company was chosen to install the new dispatch system after an almost 2 year search and review by local authorities. The prior system was obsolete and could no longer be maintained.
