Chamber of Commerce/Main Street Soliciting Art for Red Hills Festival T-shirt Design

Are you a local artist or is there a young person in your family that enjoys painting and design work? If so, the Winston County Chamber of Commerce/Main Street Association has a project for you and maybe even a prize. The Chamber of Commerce/Main Street is soliciting artwork that will be printed on the Red Hills Festival t-shirts as well as the posters and other printed material. The Festival is held every Memorial Day weekend in downtown Louisville. The t-shirts will be available for purchase and also worn by festival volunteers. Posters promoting the event will also appear all over town and possibly online and in the newspaper.

Anyone wishing to submit their art should do so no later than Wednesday, February 13, 2013. If your art is selected by the Red Hills Festival Committee you will receive $100.00. If you have any questions about requirements or you would like to see artwork from previous years, come by the Chamber Offices at 311 West Park Street in Louisville. Your work should be on 9 x12 art paper.
