ECCC Holds 2020 Vision Forum in Louisville

School Officials from East Central Community College visited with citizens in Louisville on Wednesday. As part of the school's 2020 Vision Program, the school welcomed area residents to a public forum at Lake Tiak O'Khata.

Faculty and staff set up areas of interest and concern for the school to get input. We spoke with ECCC President Dr. Billy Stewart who was enthusiastic about the program. The 2020 Vision is a term used by the school to express the goals in place for the year 2020 and to promote input into these goals. According to Stewart, five basic areas of concern and interest are actively pursued in the program: communication, student success, resource planning and development, teaching and learning and community partnerships.

Dr. Stewart indicated that he hoped that these forums would help ECCC develop a strategic plan to provide a clearer picture of where the school is headed and what is achieved by the year 2020.
