Letter from WWN

It's been an interesting few days. After months of work on design, formatting, layout and content discussions, we have bared WinstonWebNews to the Facebook World. While we have yet to do any significant promotion and advertising outside of Facebook and we still have a long way to go to establish all of our local news contacts, your response has been very heartening. We know that we are on the right track and from your feedback - we know that WWN can fill a need that has existed for a long time in our community.

Over the next few weeks, we will be promoting WWN further. We will also be improving our content by including additional local writers and bloggers and establishing contacts so that we can provide as much local event and news coverage as possible.

We have made a long term commitment to this project recognizing that we are attempting something that's not only unique to this area but unique in concept. Anything new requires patience and continual effort and a willingness to adjust when needed. WWN is ready to take on that challenge. BUT -

YOUR FEEDBACK - Let us know if you like something we 're doing and maybe more importantly, let us know if there is something you don't like. Make suggestions, tell us what you would like to see on our pages. Send us photos and information on events and news that you personally experience- Wish someone a happy birthday or anniversary by sending us an email or message by Facebook. This is your website - your news - your community.

VISIT US OFTEN - Like any other small business, we have to make a profit to survive. We profit from advertising on our site. WWN is only valuable as an advertising medium if the public visits our pages on a regular basis so we update our pages more than most websites to keep you coming back. In a sense, it is a perfect circle:
