Winston Co Unemployment Rate Falls in Sept

An unemployment rate of 16.8% is nothing to cheer about but it is an improvement from the rates that exceeded 20% throughout most of the summer in Winston County. The September rate is still the fourth highest rate in the state; exceeded only by Noxubee, Clay and Holmes Counties. The 2010 rate is similar to the unemployment rate for the county in Sept 2009.
