NALC Food Drive

The National Association of Letter Carriers Annual Food Drive is set for May 14, 2011.All citizens need to do is to place a box or can of non-perishable food next to their mailbox before their letter carrier delivers mail on May 14th.The carrier will do the rest. There will also be a hamper in the Louisville Post Office if you would like to drop off your donations any time during the week of May 9th thru the 14th.

All donations go to the Winston Baptist Association's Food Pantry for distribution to local families. The Baptist Association helped a total of 896 families in Winston County, more than 2,400 individuals and distributed over 6,000 food items in 2010 with the help of the Letter Carriers Food Drive.
