Red Hills Art Contest Winners

The Red Hills Art Contest was recently held and artwork has been available for viewing at the Winston County Library. There were 56 entries submitted in the contest and sixteen awards given: First & second place in artwork and crafts and honorable mentions in both categories. Judge Terri Cherry from East MS Community College commented that this was "Very high quality work!" First place #32--Beginning by T Cournoyer, Second Place #42--Flowers on Main St by M McNeel*** honorable mentions Angelica Robinson #21, Betty Jane Chatham #36, Bernice Pearson # 38, Larry Howell #1, W. G. Sims #47, Wanda Hunter #9, Jim Land # 27, Barbara Howell #5, Marie Shaw #48.
Crafts First Place #17 --Beads by Melvina Moore, Second Place #15--Divided Loyalties by Amy Hathorn,*** Honorable Mentions #20 Susan Clark, and #31 Terri Cournoyer.
