More than 100 Participate in Red Hills 5K/Fun Run

The 2nd Annual Junior Auxiliary Red Hills 5k Run/Walk and 1Mile Fun Run started off the festivities during last Saturday's Red Hills Festival. 90 competitors participated in the 5k race that started on N. Columbus near Fair Elementary and ended at the monument on Main Street. Participants ran, walked and wheeled themselves around the designated course. 19 participated in the 1Mile Fun Run as well. The Junior Auxiliary sponsored run has been a welcome addition to the Festival weekend and serves to bring out of town visitors to the area.
The best times were completed by Aaron Bradley at 17.47 and Meggan Franks at 17.48. The top three finishers in the Fun Run included Jacob McMillan ,Colby McMillan & Ethan Crain. To see all participants, click here.
