County Has an Increase in Unemployment Rate in June

Winston County's unemployment rate for June was 15.9% ranking the county at 73 out of 82 counties. This was a jump in the rate from May when unemployment data indicated a rate of 15.1%. Prior to the June data, the unemployment rate had declined over several months. The rate  for June in 2010 had been at 18.9%   The statewide unemployment rate remained unchanged from May at 10.3%.
