
The Louisville Country Club will be the scene for the Louisville Lion's Club annual 2Man/Woman Scramble on Saturday, August 6. Registration for the tournament will begin at 8:15 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. Fees are $45 per person, and $90 per team. Businesses and organizations can also sponsor an individual hole for $120.The first nine holes start at 9:15 a.m. and 18 holes will be played in the afternoon startingat 1 p.m. There are a total of 27 holes for play. The Lions will be providing lunch at the clubhouse for all participants and there will be a drawing of door prizes including donations from local businesses and a weekend for two at Sam’s Town in Tunica.
There will be 4 flights with trophies awarded for 1st and 2nd place and a $100 prize for closest to the hole on # 7. Crowson Auto World is also sponsoring a new vehicle for anyone who hits a hole-in-one during the tournament.
Proceeds from the tournament go toward Lion programs for assistance for the blind, to provide eyeglasses to those in need and other community projects in our area.
