Geekie the Clown and his alter ego, Andy Childress performed on Thursday evening for a small but enthusiastic crowd at the Red Hills Theater (Strand) in downtown Louisville. Geekie regaled the group with local stories about everything from checking out an odd assortment of books at the library, missing school on Danny Glover day, the difficulty of driving in clown shoes and the perils of getting lost in the newly remodeled Walmart. All of Geekie's escapades seemed to end when the local cops drag him off the premises -"kicking & screaming."
Part of the proceeds from Childress's blacked out puppet show will go toward the operation of the theater.
