What's Happenin' This Weekend

Another big weekend on tap for Louisville & Winston County. Last night (Thursday) Nanih Waiya traveled to Weir for a matchup on the gridiron and the Warriors came away with a resounding win by a score of 50-8. Nanih Waiya only ran four offensive plays in the second half but three resulted in touchdowns.... Tonight's games include Louisville at Houston, Noxapater at West Lowndes and Simpson comes to Winston Academy. You can follow the action with updates right here on our Friday Nite Tweets page, on Twitter or Facebook.
There are lots of other activities planned this weekend as well as the Lil Blessings Consignment sale started today at 9 am & will run through Saturday afternoon. You can check out our events page for more info & times. Also scheduled for Saturday is the County-Wide Yard Sale held at the Louisville Coliseum. Doors open at 6 am as everyone is welcome. It's not too late to reserve some booth space. Booths cost $10 and admission is free. Again, more details on our events page. If you're looking for a little more action, join the Louisville Fire Department Association Motorcycle ride on Saturday morning. The ride will be escorted by the Mississippi Highway Patrol and will start and end at the Big Red Fire Museum in Louisville which will also be open for all to see some amazing pieces of American Fire Service history. Ride Fee will be $20.00 including passengers and this will come with a small meal. Onsite registration begins at 07:00 and kickstands up at 09:00.

Some things happening next week: Lions Chili Supper at the Courthouse Annex on Tuesday at 6:30.... Facilitator training for the WCPCL's "Turning the Tide on Poverty" scheduled for Monday & Tuesday evenings at the Extension Office.

If you don't see your event here - it's because you didn't tell us about it. All you have to do is contact us by email, through Facebook or call and we'll get your non-profit event out for everyone to see.
