There will be three statewide initiatives and a local referendum on the November 8 ballot. A definition of personhood fuels the abortion debate across the state. Voter Id at the polls and an eminent domain question round out the state initiatives while Winston County residents will be asked to vote on the legalization of the sale of alcohol within the county. The following are the exact wording of these ballot measures as they will appear on the ballot.
Statewide Initiative Measure No. 26
Should the term 'person' be defined to include every human being from the moment of fertilization, cloning, or the equivalent thereof?

Winston County Wide Referendum
An election has been ordered by the Winston County Board of Supervisors on the issue of whether or not the sale, distribution and possession of
alcoholic liquors shall be permitted in Winston County as provided in MS
Code 67-1-11(2).
A Vote "FOR" is a vote to legalize.
A Vote "AGAINST" is a vote to remain dry.
