Short Agenda for Louisville Board of Alderman

The Louisville Board of Alderman dealt with several issues including unclean properties in Tuesday evening's meeting (11-1-11). Agenda items included payment of invoices, and authorization for city personnel to attend training or conferences. The Board also issued a Resolution honoring the local business, "The Jewel Shoppe" for their fifty years of business in the community.
Hearings were set for the following "Unclean Properties":


  • 427 N. Church St

  • 101 Reed Ave

  • properties at the corner of Hudson & Jones

  • 609 Metts st.201 Johnson Ave.

  • 404 Academy St

The Board also discussed the lighting project on the bypass which should begin soon, a sidewalk project in town and the structure and procedures of the Economic Development Board.


The Board also voted 3-2 to change all future meeting times to 5:30. City Clerk Babs Fulton indicated that the current policy was sometimes confusing to the public. The new meeting time will take effect immediately.
