Winston Co.'s 2nd Murder Occurs on Sunday Morning

Winston County's second murder of the year occurred in the early morning hours on Sunday (2-26). Sheriff Jason Pugh indicated that his department received a call at 3:38 AM of a shooting at the Imperial Palace located on the edge of Louisville on Hwy 14 West. Upon arrival, deputies found that Marcus D. Henton, a 34 year old black male had been shot and an unidentified female had been wounded in the arm. Henton was taken to Winston Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 4:44 AM.

Pugh indicated that the shooting was still under investigation and that several subjects of interest had been identified. We'will have more details as they become available.
