Tree Planting at Academy Park

 Master Gardeners along with help from workers from the City, Food Corp. and members of 4-H planted 19 trees at Academy Park on Monday, October 22, 2012. The Master Gardeners started out at 10 a.m. at the 4-H Garden and built a compost pile and then moved on to the park. The trees were planted just for the beautification of Academy Park. Some of the workers that helped with the planting were Elmetra Patterson, Janice Hopkins, Jean Harper, Robert Antonello (Food Corp.), Todd McCullough and Mike Skipper.
