Stew Stomp and Veterans Day Parade

Louisville's Annual Veteran's Day and Stew Stomp will be held on Saturday, November 3, beginning at 11:00 a.m. A Sweet Tea Contest has been added this year sponsored by Pearl River Resort. Anyone who is interested in participating in either or both contest contact the Chamber Of Commerce at 662-773-3921 for applications and contest rules. In case you're wondering if participating will be worth your while, here is the list of  prizes for each contest.

Stew Stomp Prizes:
Booth Decoration:  3rd Place - $75.00
                              2nd Place - $150.00
                              1st Place - $300.00

Peoples Choice in Stew Competition:  3rd Place - $200.00
                                                          2nd Place - $350.00
                                                          1st Place - $500.00

Judge's Choice in Stew Competition:  3rd Place - $300.00
                                                         2nd Place - $600.00
                                                         1st Place - 1000.00 and Stew Trophy

Sweet Tea Prizes:
3rd Place - Dinner for 2 at the Villa
2nd Place - Dinner for 2 at Phillip M's and 1 night stay at the Golden Moon or Silver Star for 2
1st Place - 50 minute Spa treatment for 2 and 2 night stay at Golden Moon or Silver Star for 2
