The Partnership/Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet will be held on March 7, 2012 at 6:30 pm at Lake Tiak-O’Khata. The Chamber of Commerce/Main Street is once again asking you to seriously consider nominations for Man and Woman of the Year and Life Time Achievement Award. President, Phil Harrison asked that you please consider nominees for these awards as they are our county’s highest honors.
MAN AND WOMAN OF THE YEAR
We are asking that nominations for “Man and Woman of the Year” be made for a person whose accomplishments have been in the past 12 months rather than over several years. Also, a person who has received the award in the past is eligible to receive the award again.
LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Nominations for the “Life Time Achievement Award”, which will not necessarily be presented every year, are also being solicited. This award will be presented to a person who, over the course of a lifetime, has helped make Winston County a better place to live.
Civic clubs, Church Organizations, and Individuals are encouraged to nominate persons they feel are worthy of consideration. Nominations should be in letter form and addressed to Awards, c/o Louisville/Winston County Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 551, Louisville, MS 39339. Letters should be typed, and limited to no more than two pages. They may be mailed or hand delivered to the Chamber of Commerce office. The deadline for submitting nominations is 9:00 AM, Friday, February 8, 2013.
