Wintry Weather & Snow Possible This Weekend

Per the National Weather Service: A POTENT STORM SYSTEM WILL BE MOVING THROUGH THE REGION SUNDAY WITH COLD TEMPERATURES IN PLACE ACROSS PARTS OF MISSISSIPPI, LOUISIANA & ARKANSAS. THIS WILL RESULT IN POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT WINTRY PRECIPITATION FOR AREAS ALONG AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 20. AT THIS TIME THE CONFIDENCE OF MOSTLY SNOW FALLING IS HIGHEST ALONG AND NORTH OF THE HIGHWAY 82 CORRIDOR...BUT FURTHER SOUTH A MIX OF SLEET...SNOW...FREEZING RAIN AND RAIN IS MORE LIKELY DURING THE EVENT. WINTRY ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE FROM EARLY SUNDAY THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT...WITH POTENTIAL FOR AS MUCH AS SEVERAL INCHES ALONG AND NORTH OF HIGHWAY 82 AND OVER PORTIONS OF THE ARKLAMISS DELTA.
