U.S. Congressman Alan Nunnelee was in Louisville on Monday evening as part of his reelection campaign. Nunnelee's campaign bus arrived in Louisville around 6:30 pm. He attended a meet and greet at the Strand Theater where he spoke to a group of supporters. Nunnelee stressed his family and conservative principles and spoke of his efforts to cut government spending and the repeal of ObamaCare. Calling the upcoming election one of the most important of our time, Nunnelee indicated that it could determine what kind of world we leave for our children and grandchildren.
The Congressman answered several questions from the audience concerning national issues including the Keystone Pipeline and the continued influence of the Tea Party.
Nunnelee faces Henry Ross and Robert Estes in Tuesday's Republican Primary. Polls open at 7 am.
