Teters Ribbon Cutting

A large crowd of local leaders, company executives and employees gathered on Tuesday morning (3-27) for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the new lease and expansion of product lines at the Teters facility on South Church in Louisville. The local facility is a distribution center for Teter Floral Products. A new lease with Winston County for the building (part of the old Spartus property) and expansion of the company including additional local employment has increased Teters stake in our community.
Board of Supervisors President Larry Duran indicated that lease negotiations for the property had been ongoing for almost a year and noted that every job counts - we're glad you are here. Supervisor Mike Peterson indicated that the original bond issue for the building would be retired this year which would free up lease money to go back into the maintenance of the facility. A current grant is pending to complete some roof repair on the property as well.
Teters Floral products is a leading multi-national permanent botanical supplier that imports, assembles and distributes artificial floral products around the world.
