3rd Annual Louisville Homecoming Planning Under Way

Planning began on Thursday night  for Louisville/Winston County's 3rd annual Homecoming event. Homecoming will be held in conjunction with the Red Hills Festival in downtown Louisville on May 25 & 26.Begun in 2010, Homecoming started with Facebook conversations between old friends and grew into an idea  for folks with Winston County ties to return home, visit old friends and reminisce.
This year's event will be held in front of and inside the Winston County Courthouse during the day of the festival from 9:00 am til 2:00 pm. People are encouraged to bring old photographs, school pictures, church pictures and memorabilia that relate to Louisville and Winston County and display them within the Courthouse during the event.
