Alderman Appoint Partridge to Airport Board

Louisville Aldermen had a short agenda on Tuesday evening with the Airport Board appointment leading the agenda. Here are the highlights:

• The Board adopted a resolution to authorize the Mayor to sign and execute the CDBG application for a public facilities grant and committed $230,100 (funds from Louisville Utilities)
• Dealt with several unclean properties.
• Made a premium payment to Municipal Workers Compensation Group for $2825.
• Paid Docket of Claims for April.
• After discussion appointed Joey Partridge to fill the vacated position on the Airport Board.
• Authorized Police Chief Claiborne to attend the Police Summer Conference in Biloxi in July.
• Adopted an amended Police Policy.
• Approved the hiring of 2 part time workers for the Recreation Department.
• Went into Executive Session relating to an employee disciplinary matter within the Police Department.
