Pearson Recognized for Volunteer Firefighter Achievement

Volunteer Firefighter Dustin Pearson was recognized by the City of Louisville on Tuesday evening.  City Officials looked on as Fire Chief Terry Johnson presented Pearson with a certificate and a traditional black helmet that indicates his status as an experienced firefighter. Pearson completed his qualification as a Mississippi Volunteer Firefighter II NFPA 1001. The qualification took 140 hours of training. Pearson said, " I appreciate the recognition. Working with a good group of guys (fellow firefighters) like this, makes it easy."
