Louisville Rotary Learns of College Savings Plans

In their July 18 meeting, the Louisville Rotary Club  hosted Ashley Comstock, an official with the Ms State Treasurer's Office. Comstock presented a program about the state's sponsored College Tuition Programs, MPACT and MACS. These 529 programs allow parents and grandparents to either establish a prepaid tuition plan for their children or establish a college savings plan.

MPACT allows the user to lock in current tuition rates which can be a significant cost savings particularly if parents begin the plan at an early age. To find out more about these plans, visit www.CollegeSavingsMississippi.com
