Eleven Arrested On Drug Charges on Thursday


Press Release from LPD: A multi-agency drug round-up involving the Louisville Police Department, Winston County Sheriff Department, Ms. Bureau of Narcotics, Ms. Highway Safety Patrol, Ms. Attorney General's Office, Ms Department of Corrections and the Ms. Alcoholic Beverage Control took place yesterday, September 20, 2012. 
A total of 11 persons were arrested for sale of controlled substance. This is the culmination of a nine month investigation involving these different agencies. Chief L. M. Claiborne and Sheriff Jason Pugh wish to thank all officers and agencies involved. We wish the citizens of Louisville and Winston County to know this is an ongoing battle we are fighting to rid our city and county of drugs. But we also wish the citizens to know this is not a battle we can win alone. We need the cooperation of everyone to continue the fight.
