The Winston County Sheriff's Department responded to a 911 call on Saturday evening (9-15) at 3867 Brooksville Road. At the location known as AC/DC Welding, authorities found a victim, Chaz Brunschon, with a gunshot wound to the head. Brunschon was not alone at the time of the shooting and a preliminary investigation indicates that the wound was self -inflicted but believed to be accidental in nature. A 38 caliber pistol was found at the scene. Brunschon was transported to the University Medical Center in Jackson due to the nature of his injuries. His current condition is unknown and the incident is still under investigation.
