Saving Rural America Conference To Be Held this Weekend at Louisville Coliseum

The 5^th Annual Saving Rural America and Youth Conference is coming to Louisville Coliseum for a two day event on this Friday and Saturday (March2,3) The conference is sponsored by the Winston County Self-Help Cooperative(WCSHC). WCSHC has served small farmers, food producers and rural interests in East-Central Mississippi since 1985.

The Conference is geared toward small farmers and producers and improving food quality and production particularly for local markets. Registration begins at 9 am on Friday with scheduled seminars and workshops on a variety of topics ranging from governmental food policies, diabetes care, pesticides and food preservation.
