Three officers achieve new rank within Louisville Police Department as the restructuring of the department continues. Under new policy,officers can receive promotions after serving 5 years in their present role and passing a written test. Chief Claiborne stated that this new system," will insure proper chain of command and give officers incentive to move up in rank". Officers pictured above achieved the rank of Patrol Officer First Class.
