Holiday Spirit at the Library

There's lots to see this holiday season at the Winston County Library as staff, members of the community and civic organizations get into the spirit of the season. Drop by and see what's happening! On display at the library - Mrs. Terri Cournoyer's collection of vintage Christmas Nativity Scenes from around the world.

Also on display at the library: Town & Country Garden Club Christmas Tree, created by (l-r) club President Debbie Moody, Elaine Thompson, Dot DePriest, Vale Tabor and Frances Pierce.  The tree has gold hand-sprayed magnolia leaves on it, as well as boxes of Animal Crackers.  Animal Crackers were originally made to hang as children's treats on Christmas trees - that's why to this day, each box still has a string handle on it.
