The College of Education at Mississippi State University (CEMSU) is working with the Louisville Municipal School District (LMSD) on a number of educational projects. CEMSU's Department of Leadership and Foundations has 18 education leadership students taking two graduate classes at Louisville's Eiland Middle School. The College also offers a graduate level class at Eiland Middle School as well for elementary, secondary, and special education teachers.
The Program for Research and Evaluation for Public Schools (PREPS) also partners with CEMSU and LMSD to offer professional development opportunities for teachers and administrators.
To make the community more aware of these programs and their benefits to the local school system and community, the College of Education and PREPS are partnering with LMSD to sponsor an Open House at Eiland Middle School on Thursday, December 6, at 3:30.
